The XD700/5v2 is ideal for a complete subwoofer + four-satellite system in audiophile quality and fits comfortably in almost any vehicle. - The breakthrough that makes so much power possible in such a small chassis is JL's NexD™ shifting design.
- The XD700/5v2 contains a 12 dB/octave high-pass filter for one main channel pair, a 12 dB octave high-pass or band-pass filter for the other main channel pair and a low-pass filter with variable slope for the subwoofer channel. All three filters offer an infinitely variable cut-off frequency selection of 50-500 Hz.
- The filters on this amplifier can also be configured as a true 3-way crossover, with a low pass filter for the subwoofer channel, a band pass filter on channels 3 & 4 and a high pass filter on channels 1 & 2. A "x10" multiplier switch on the high pass filter on channels 1 and 2 allows the cut-off frequency to be set from 50-500 Hz or 500-5000 Hz.
- The XD700/5v2 also features the v2 Spec feature set, which consists of an auto power-on function (via signal sampling or DC offset sampling) and a dual-range differential balanced input section that can handle a wide range of input voltage levels.
- With an additional HD-RLC remote control (sold separately), the level of the amplifier can be controlled directly from the driver's seat.
- This amplifier has a black powder coating and a sealed, brushed aluminum cover for the controls.
