  • There are times when an installation requires a separate woofer and tweeter, and other times when a coaxial speaker is the better solution. With the Evolution® C3 Convertible Component systems, the same product can be used in both configurations, delivering outstanding audio performance and quality in any application.
  • Many mistakenly believe that an oval speaker is not as powerful as a round one, resulting in many 5.25-inch speakers being installed in 5 x 7-inch openings. JL Audio has put a lot of time and effort into designing fantastic sounding speakers that fit into oval ports and are guaranteed to deliver the same performance as JL's round 6.5-inch (165mm) speaker systems. So don't make the mistake of losing out on cone area and efficiency by going for a smaller round speaker, these ovals are just as impressive as JL's round format systems.
  • The C3-570 system consists of 5 x 7 / 6 x 8-inch (125 x 180 mm) component woofers with oversized 1.2-inch (30.5 mm) voice coils, mineral-filled polypropylene cones and injection-molded polymer baskets. The woofer design benefits from JL Audio's extensive experience in woofer design and advanced modeling systems.
  • The C3 tweeters are built with 1-inch silk dome cones that deliver a powerful, extended on- and off-axis response.
  • In-wall and "on-wall" mounting fixtures are included to accommodate a variety of installation requirements. They can also be mounted coaxially on the bass-midrange drivers using the brackets provided.
  • The C3 crossovers are compact and made from high quality components including Mylar® capacitors and segmented air core coils. Four levels of tweeter damping and three levels of midrange presence adjustment are available for twelve possible combinations!
  • Mid-bass grilles are not available for this product.
