  • With PowerWedge+™ systems, the power is integrated directly into the subwoofer system. This subwoofer system, which includes a proprietary Class D amplifier, utilizes JL's exclusive DCD™ amplifier technology to extract maximum power from its specially designed, ultra-low impedance TW1 driver. By combining direct power conversion with an ultra-high current output section, DCD™ amplifiers are free from conventional switching power supplies, allowing them to produce remarkable power with unprecedented efficiency.
  • Harnessing the power and insanely small cabinet requirements of the TW1 subwoofer, this subwoofer system is designed to deliver amazing sub-bass from a cabinet just 168mm deep. Its low-profile enclosure design has been carefully tuned to provide the optimum sealed enclosure orientation for the 12TW1 driver and refined through extensive listening in the field.
  • Integration into OEM and aftermarket head units is a breeze thanks to a variety of input options and automatic turn-on capability (via signal sampling or DC offset sampling).
  • Also included is a variable frequency low pass filter (50-200 Hz) and an output polarity control switch.
  • By adding an optional RBC-1 remote control (sold separately), you can control the subwoofer level directly from the driver's seat.
  • A quick disconnect power connector makes it easy to remove the subwoofer when you need the extra space.
  • Note: DCD™ amplified systems use very specific components. Never use a DCD™ amplifier or its subwoofer(s) with incompatible, non-DCD™ products. Doing so will void the warranty and may result in serious damage.
  • Finish: Black, high-quality car carpet with silver "JL AUDIO" embroidery on the front baffle. A steel grille is supplied to protect the subwoofer.
